I have had some problems with Wordpress and a couple plugins since I updated a couple months ago. I haven’t made it a priority to correct it but I will update it soon so I can get the media off the front page and get the formatting looking good.
Have fun and see you soon.

Now here is a set of videos that I saw about five or six months ago when the saga started. It is a great set of fan videos that features a less persuasive figure than the character he represents. I found the first two very funny. The next couple episodes are mildly entertaining if you are a follower of Chad’s adventures. Sounds just like the Star Wars movies. Start great the work your way into so-so….
Episode 1
Episode 2
Episode 3
Episode 4
Episode 5
Episode 6
Coming Soon….
…after the destruction of the first Death Star.
OK… I am sure that this is just me but this is one of the funniest Star Wars related videos I have seen in a while. Definitely a Big Hat in my book. It looks like this has been out since the summer but this weekend was the first time that I saw it. This fits right in with the new section I am going to start that is for topics strictly related to Star Wars videos from fans or other spoofs.
Spoilers:
I really think the following quotes are hilarious:
What the hell is an Aluminum Falcon?
Get your 7 foot 2 inch asthmatic ass back here.
You got an ATM on that torso Lite Brite?
Look for a couple more in the next week or so…
Well I have too many issues to correct in just one year so I think I will start with some simple ones. One of these will be to follow through and finish what I start. Okay, it’s not a simple one but a perfect example is this blog. I started this to be a central location to spread information to some friends. Normally I run across some cool technology or a way someone is exploiting something for fun or profit and this should be a simple way to share that kind of information. But good intentions of doing anything, even a simple blog post, are nothing if not followed through. So I have a simple resolution to post to my blog every 7 – 14 days. This should not be an issue. I have two or three ideas / topics every week I could write about so one every week or two should be an easy goal. I hope everyone has a great “Year of the Fire Pig”, Boar, or just plain pig.
P.S. = I do like my new layout but I will try and address some of the color combination issues that others have mentioned.
Well it might not be a better Google search but it does make the results cleaner if you are not looking to purchase an item.
It can be annoying to have the top entries returned in your search always being Amazon, Pricegrabber, etc… and sometimes you really don’t want them in your search results. Go check it out…. http://www.givemebackmygoogle.com
Take a look this way - - >”Tom and Sam are Stuck” Must be a tough job market for Condensed Matter Physicists in the future. Well I think the last thing I would do if I was from the future would be to create some lameass website with some uninspiring media. It could be because they are trying to add some realism but I just want to forget the site. Maybe it is not funny or entertaining because it is real?? Ooohhooohhh Or Not!! If this becomes a YouTube or internet cult I am going to release a new video a week about something stupid until I am the YouTube poster child. If you are wondering I have no desire to help them.
It is a day to make a difference, a day to have an excuse to be late to work or take a longer lunch. In honor of this event that you can only experience once every two years I have a compiled some video clips to inspire you.

OK… the second one is just some dudes trying to break a car window and it goes bad.
Maybe a little entertaining if you are in the field but other that that I am not sure. And who are they trying to fool??? Yeah.. just try and upgrade a Dell system without their proprietary parts.
Opening video for Dell’s keynote at Oracle Open World.
Clad in body armor and armed with his trusty sword, an animated Michael Dell leads down-trodden customers from Proprietaryville to the bliss of Global Standardopolis. Joining him on this musical journey are EMC’s Joe Tucci, Oracle’s Larry Ellison, AMD’s Hector Ruiz and Intel’s Paul Otellini. Can our band of heroes defeat the evil “Big Iron” dragon and lead their customers to the Global Standardopolis?
Here is a site that has links to many of the great and not-so great music videos. I have looked and some of the ones that I enjoyed are out there. These aren’t necessarily the ones I mean but here are some of the more memorable.
A Flock Of Seagulls - Space Age Love Song
Man that was a great hair style. The more I think about it, the punk/alternative rockers from the 80’s still have better handle on awesome hair styles.
Eddie Murphy - Party all the Time
Is that Charlie Murphy back there with Rick James??
Escape Club - Wild Wild West
That is WACK!! Not in a good way.
If you are a HAIR BAND FAN here are a some quickies…
Bon Jovi - Livin’ On A Prayer
Guns N Roses - Welcome To The Jungle
Megadeth - In My Darkest Hour
Metallica - Master of Puppets
Iron Maiden - The Number of the Beast
Poison - Every Rose Has Its Thorn
Ratt - Lay It Down
Twisted Sister - We’re Not Gonna Take It
Van Halen - Jump
White Lion - When The Children Cry
I don’t know how long the site will be around because it used to be www.1500videos.com but now is www.insuranceandnews.com. Seems that they are either exceeding their bandwidth or they are getting some pressure from the RIAA.
You are if you have $10,200 dollars and are one of the first 250 applicants.
Microsoft Certified Architect Program
Small blurb: The Microsoft Certified Architect Program identifies top industry experts in IT Architecture. These architects can use multiple technologies to solve business problems and provide business metrics and measurements to describe the success or failure of the projects that they drive. The program is currently in its final pilot phase and is expected to be opened up to the architect community in the second half of 2006.
I can’t believe that people are willing to spend $10,000 for a certification for their resume. Yes, I understand that $10,000 could be small potatoes to some people. You can argue that with that on your resume you will get an extra $10,000 - $20,000 a year but for those of us in the field how many people that have this level of expertise will pursue this certification.
So in the style of Jeff Foxworthy — if you are an ego maniac, 250th to apply and give Microsoft $10,200 you might just be an “Architect”.
